New Year's Eve in Milan between music and ballet
Milan offers a wide range of opportunities to immerse yourself in the Christmas atmosphere and celebrate the new year in the best way: from fashion to gastronomy, from culture to entertainment but above all with the Lo Schiaccianoci ballet at the Teatro alla Scala and the New Year's Concert dedicated to Beethoven at the Fondazione Cariplo Auditorium.
A perfect city to spend New Year's Eve in a magical atmosphere, to enrich the mind with architectural masterpieces such as the Duomo, Castello Sforzesco, and with its excellent museums; to get excited with the rich program of the Teatro alla Scala which will see the Lo Schiaccianoci Ballet on stage with the choreography of Rudolf Nureyev and the fantastic New Year's concert. Beethoven's Ninth: a timeless masterpiece, which excites every year.
The concert will be introduced by the reading - by Massimiliano Finazzer Flory - of Ludwig van Beethoven's will, written on the brink of despair due to irreversible deafness on 6 October 1802 in Heiligenstadt and addressed to his brothers Karl and Johann.
