Discovering Federico Fellini's Rimini, between art and music

The story of a surprising city that most of all represents provincial Italy but still capable of embracing the "best"of itself becoming a universal city: from Fellini's cinema, to the great artists of the past, to the great music conducted by Sir Antonio Pappano in the renovated Teatro Galli.

A comfortable stay in the historic Grand Hotel Rimini, recognised as a national monument, is just the first step in a journey that will lead us to discover a different Rimini, in the footsteps of one of its most iconic characters. We are going to dedicate a whole day to Federico Fellini visiting Borgo San Giuliano and Castel Sismondo with the Fellini Museum.

We continue to follow the richness of this city leading us towards its art and history inside the City Museum. To complete our journey let's enjoy a night of great music at the renovated Teatro Galli with Sir Antonio Pappano and Beatrice Rana.

Block notes:
  • Grand Hotel Rimini  - The hotel represents La Dolce Vita and it's the place of Fellini's imagination par excellence
  • Music - Pappano, Rana and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe
  • Art - Masterpieces by Giotto, Piero della Francesca, Giovanni Bellini, Guido Cagnacci
