It returns to the stage of the Teatro La Fenice, as part of the 2023-2024 Opera and Ballet Season. The playful drama in two acts composed by the Salzburg native on the libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte will be staged in the award-winning production which won an Abbiati Award in 2011 (for the sets and costumes) and five Opera Awards assigned to Damiano Michieletto for the direction, Paolo Fantin for the sets, Carla Teti for the costumes, and the entire staging as the best show of the 2010 season.
